My Way, Episode 9

Angie is sleeping. She dreams that she’s kissing Chris, both in victorian clothes, in Dessy’s room. Suddenly, Angie’s parents walk in and get shocked.

Angie wakes up.

1. Angie: *screams*

Chris runs into his room.

2. Chris: What?! You okay?!
3. Angie: Uh. *scaredly hyper* I had a nightmare.
4. Chris: I’m sure it was not real.
5. Angie: *whispering to self* yeah, sadly…
6. Chris: Hmm?
7. Angie: *quickly* nothing!
8. Chris: Okay. Do you –

Knock knock.

9. Chris: *whispering* Hide over there!
10. Angie: *whispering* Okay! *hides*
11. Chris: Yes? *Victoria comes in*
12. Vicky: I finally found out I wasn’t lying about it. I never did.
13. Chris: Huh?
14. Vicky: When I said my brother was gay! Now I can proove it!
15. Chris: I’m lost.
16. Vicky: Ugh! You just screamed like a little girl.
17. Chris: Me? Oh. Uhh…
18. Vicky: I was recording with my cellphone and your scream can be heard. Now everyone will know you’re gay.
19. Chris: No- Well… uhm… *Angie appears*
20. Angie: Hey I’m Angie, and I was the person who screamed.
21. Vicky: Whata! Chris… Chris you got-?
22. Chris: NO! Don’t say that. It’s not what you think.
23. Vicky: Don’t lie!
24. Chris: She’s from school!
25. Vicky: EVEN WORSE!
26. Chris: She had fought with her family and didn’t want to go to her house. I told her she could stay here!
27. Vicky: Ah! Ehh… I’m sorry…
28. Chris: Ugh.
29. Angie: It’s okay.
30. Vicky: I’m always sayin’ my brother’s gay, you know…
31. Chris: Oh, please!
32. Angie: I’d love to proove he’s not.
33. Vicky: Hmm… do you like guys or girls?
34. Chris: Girls?!?!
35. Vicky: Anyone in particular? If you say no…
36. Chris: *looks around* Angie.

37. Angie: Uhm… ?
38. Vicky: Wo wo wo, I just needed to know you weren’t gay! Not necessary to tell your crush what you feel!
39. Angie: OKAY!
40. Chris: OKAY!
41. Vicky: I… better get going… *leaves*
42. Chris: Yes!   Now you know how annoying she can be…
43. Angie: Mmhmm.
44. Chris: No, I don’t have a big crush on you. I just said that so that she could leave.
45. Angie: Okay…
46. Chris: But that doesn’t mean you’re not pretty.
47. Angie: let me ask you something. Are you being flirty?
48. Chris: *sacasm* OH, NO! You found out! *end sarcasm* Duh!
49. Angie: Haha, thank you then. Wait. We should be at school!
50. Chris: Uh, no. Today is the 193rd anniversary of the foundation of this town, so there’s no school.
51. Angie: Yay!
52. Chris: Do you want me to take you to your house or to the park?
53. Angie: Definitely to the park. But let me call my dad first.
54. Chris: ‘Kay. I’ll be downstairs.
55. Angie: Okay. *takes phone* Hey… dad?       No, don’t  yell at me. I’m fine.      No, I wasn’t kidnapped. I went to see mom.     No! I’m going to the park with a friend now.     I’ll go home later.      Yes, I slept at my friend’s.         Really, don’t worry. Bye.

She goes downstairs. Chris is looking through the window, and talking with someone on the phone.

56. Chris: …my house, and she stayed here all night. Hahaha! No, man! That’s not a nice welcome-to-this-school present. We’re going to the park now! No probably there. Who knows! Nawh, we’d already know if so. Besides, it doesn’t look as if she had one. Okay. Bye.

A few seconds pass, and Angie walks next to Chris.

57. Angie: I called my dad.
58. Chris: And?
59. Angie: I think I’m grounded till I’m married.
60. Chris. Then marry soon!
61. Angie: Haha, let’s get going.
62. Chris: You smell like beer.
63. Angie: Crap. Oh, who’ll see me and smell me, anyways?
64. Chris: just me. *laughs*
65. Angie: *laughs*

They go to the park. There is a party, because of the holiday. There’s music, etc.

66. Chris: Do you want to eat something?
67. Angie: Nawh, thanks.
68. Chris: So, you like Onix so far?
69. Angie: Yeah, it’s hard to get used to small cities when you lived 17 years in a big one.
70. Chris: Where did you use to live?
71. Angie: Front Valley.
72. Chris: Oh, yeah, I can imagine what you feel. You must miss that place.
73. Angie: Not anymore. I went there yesterday and realized there’s nothing to miss in it.
74. Chris: You say that because of someone?
75. Angie: Yes.
76. Chris: You have or had a boyfriend there?!
77. Angie: No? I have a mother there.
78. Chris: Oh. I’m sorry. Your parents are divorced…?
79. Angie: Not yet.
80. Chris: If you want to talk about it…
81. Angie: No, no, I don’t want you to laugh at me and my family. It’s a ridiculous story.
82. Chris: Uh, okay then. Ugh, I’m hot.
83. Angie: Haha, what?
84. Chris: I mean, because of the temperature. Haha, I’m not that vain Angie.
85. Angie: Hahaha, let’s sit under that tree then.
86. Chris: ‘kay.
87. Angie: Let’s play truth or dare.
88. Chris: Sure. I start. Truth or dare?
89. Angie: Truth.
90. Chris: Have you ever got drunk, besides yesterday?
91. Angie: No, I think I have not. You, truth or dare?
92. Chris: Truth.
93. Angie: Hmm… have you ever caught someone cheating on someone else?
94. Chris: Yeah… Samantha cheating on me with a senior guy.
95. Angie: You have to be joking. She… cheated on you?
96. Chris: I knew she was the kind of person who could do that, but I still went out with her.
97. Angie: I’m sorry…
98. Chris: Doesn’t matter anymore. What do you choose?
99. Angie: I’ll go for dare.
100. Chris: Hahah, I dare you to… to… to kiss this tree!
101. Angie: What on earth? Okay, okay, there are worse things. *kisses tree*
102. Chris: Haha!
103. Angie: Ew, ew! There was a worm right next to me!
104. Chris: *laughs* Oh, I choose dare too.
105. Angie: Hmm you’ll see now. You have to run through the park and sing in a gay way..
106. Chris: Easy! *runs and SINGS like a girl (just sing lalalalala for 10 seconds)*
107. Angie: Hahaha x)
108. Chris *breathing in and out quickly* Ah, okay, truth or dare?
109. Angie: Dare, again.
110. Chris: Hmm… I dare you to kiss…
111. Angie: Not a plant again!
112. Chris: You haven’t heard what yet!
113. Angie: Okay, okay…
114. Chris: You have to kiss…
115. Angie: Hmm?
116. Chris: Hmm…mmme.
117. Angie: You?
118. Chris: Yes.
119. Angie: Your cheek.
120. Chris: Yes, whatever.
121. Angie: Okay, cheek.
122. Chris: ‘Kay. *Angie kisses his cheek*
123. Angie: Truth or dare?
124. Chris: Dare.
125. Angie: Now you have to kiss me.
126. Chris: Your cheek?
127. Angie: If you want, yes.
128. Chris. All right. *gets close to her, closer to her cheek, but kisses her lips*

End of episode 9! Haha!

My Way, Episode 8

(use last lines of ep 7: Angie?! Hey mom.)

1. Meaghan: You’re her daughter? Why didn’t you mention that little detail?
2. Michelle: Meaghan, I’ll talk to you later. I have to talk with my… daughter now.
3. Meaghan: Oh, all right. I’ll see you tomorrow at the salon then. Bye.
4. Michelle: Bye. Come in, Angeline…
5. Angie: Please don’t be mad at me.
6. Michelle: Just come in.

In.

7. Michelle: Shall I bring you a cup of coffee or tea?
8. Angie: No, thanks…
9. Michelle: So, now explain to me why you are here.
10. Angie: Mom, you know the reasons. Firstly, I really missed you. Besides, I want to know why you left like that a month ago. And finally… I want you to come back.
12. Michelle: Aw… Okay. First, I missed you and your siblings a lot too, of course. Second, uh…
13. Angie: *stands up and looks at a picture of Michelle and a man* Who… who is this man?
14. Michelle: He’s the… reason I left.
15. Angie: HUH?
16. Michelle: He was my first boyfriend. We met at high-school. He went abroad, and came back one month ago. I… I had promised him that I’d never find someone else. He was the person who was with me the whole time, he knew everything I wanted to know, and he was with me even in the worst moments.
17. Angie: But you can’t leave your whole family because of a high-school romance!
18. Michelle: Angie… you know that your father and me used to fight a lot. And when he found out that I was going to hang out with my high school boyfriend… he got really mad… you remember that night? You and Katy were in your room. I could hear your sister crying… and Michael was listening to rock ‘n’ roll songs. When he heard us yelling at each other, he turned the volume up so that he couldn’t hear us anymore…
19. Angie: Yeah.
20. Michelle: That night I left, and stayed at Roger’s house, here.
21. Angie: Why didn’t you apologize? And break up with this guy. Tell him you grew up!
22. Michelle: You think I didn’t try to say sorry?
23. Angie: I don’t know but… Dad loves you.
24. Michelle: Oh… But anyway, I wanted to apologize last Sunday, but you weren’t home. I tried again the next day, when Mariah told me that you had moved house. Where are you? Are your siblings alright?
25. Angie: If you think that Katy can be okay after what you’ve done… you’re so wrong.
26. Michelle: And… and Mich?
27. Angie: He’s gone. He went to New York with his band some days ago.
28. Michelle: How could he?!
29. Angie: How could you! You can leave but he can’t? At least he had a good reason!
30. Michelle: Angie, you have to go back.
31. Angie: Not unless you come back with me.
32. Michelle: You know I won’t.
33. Angie: Okay, fine. I’m leaving. I-I wish you weren’t my mother.
34. Michelle: Don’t say so…
35. Angie: Excuse me? Michael’s gone and it’s your fault. Katelyn… she’s only ten years old! She doesn’t stop asking about you! Dad… he loves you. He’s really sorry, and he’s always mad at us because he thinks we’re the reason why you left!
36. Michelle: And you…?
37. Angie: Me? I think you don’t care about us. You never did. I think you’re really immature. You left our entire family for a stupid school love!
38. Michelle: Angeline, I don’t-
39. Angie: You know what? BYE.
40. Michelle: No, Angie…
41. Angie: I shouldn’t be here… I’m wasting my time. What made me even think you’d come back?
43. Michelle: Sweetie…
44. Angie: Don’t call me that. Bye, Michelle.

It’ already night time, and Angeline drives somewhere.  There’s a sign on the highway that says “ßOnix 6. Reafess 7 à” She turns to the right. She appers in a big city, Reafess, and then she goes into a disco. She sits down. The waiter comes.

45. Waiter: Yes, hun?
46. Angie: Uh… give me something strong, please…
47. Waiter: Your face says you got bad news… *looks around* I think this will be good  for you. How old are you?
48. Angie: I turned 21 last week…
49. Waiter: Okay.

A random guy, let’s call him Tim, comes and stands behind Angie.

50. Tim: You wanna dance, baby?
51. Angie: No, thanks.
52. Tim: Aww come on!
53. Waiter: She said no, Tim. You won’t get more beer if you keep annoying young ladies.
54. Tim: *angry* okay, okay… *leaves*
55. Angie: Thanks.
56. Waiter: No problem. Here’s your drink. Don’t ask what it’s made of.
57. Angie: Okay… *drinks* by the way, I’m Angie.

After a while, Chris appears.

58. Chris: Cold water, please.
59. Waiter: Sure.
60. Angie: *looks at her drink* what is this…? *sleepy and drunk*
61. Waiter: Told you not to ask! Do you want water, Angie?
62. Angie: Nawh…
63. Chris: Angie?!
64. Angie: Uh…? Chris…?
65. Chris: Oh, gosh, you’re drunk. Keith, take that drink away from her. Don’t worry ‘bout my water. See ya.
66. Waiter: ‘Kay, bye.
67. Chris: Angie, are you okay?
68. Angie: Hmm…?
69. Chris: Come to the dancefloor; that will wake you up.
70. Angie: Music… niiiiice, man…
71. Chris: Uhh, suuure. Can you tell me why you are here?
72. Angie: Nawh, long story… is that an elephant?
73. Chris: Probably. But how did you get here?
74. Angie: Driving? *I know you want me  playing* This is a Beatles song…!
75. Chris: Don’t think so. Why did you drink alcohol?
76. Angie: Don’t know… *dances* this is so much fun!!!
77. Chris: *dances too* of course…?

Tim appears.

78. Tim: Baby! You didn’t want to dance with me, but you’re dancing with this kiddo?
79. Angie: Huh?
80. Tim: You’ll see, little bitch *Chris punches him*
81. Chris: Don’t you call her that. *leaves with Angie*
82. Tim: What the hell… you coward, come here! Ah… this hurts…
83. Angie: Are… are you okay?
84. Chris: Yes, yes, but you need to tell me where your car is.
85. Angie: I don’t have a car.
86. Chris: You said you did?
87. Angie: I stole it. It belongs to my sister…
88. Chris: Angie what’s wrong with you today? You steal cars, get drunk, a man almost kills you…
89. Angie: I… I… *cries (cry!)*
90. Chris: No, no… don’t cry… you need to tell me where your sister’s car is.
91. Angie: The-there… the red one *crying*
92. Chris: Okay, come, we’ll go back home, to Onix.
93. Angie: No, I don’t want to go home with a broken family like mine… no… no…
94. Chris: Okay, okay. You can sleep at my house if you want.
95. Angie: Please… thank you…
96. Chris: Let’s go then.
97. Angie: ‘Kay… I think I’ll sleep…
98. Chris: Sleep well.

Angie falls asleep. Suddenly she wakes up, he doesn’t notice. She looks at him and smiles.
They arrive to Chris’ house.

99. Chris: Welcome to my house. My parents and sisters may be already asleep. Do you want to eat anything?
100. Angie: No, thanks.
101. Chris: Okay. Go upstairs, the first door to the right is my room. Sleep there.
102. Angie: Okay. *Chris starts walking to the kitchen* Wait!
103. Chris: Yes?
104. Angie: *hugs him* thank you.
105. Chris: You’re welcome!
106. Angie: I better go sleep. Good night.
107. Chris: If you need anything, I’ll be here.
108. Angie: Okay.
109. Chris: Good night.

Angie goes upstairs, and sleeps with her clothes.

After the party, Agie goes home. Maddie is watching TV in the living-room.

1. Angie: Hey, Maddie.
2. Maddie: *sort of sleepy* oh, Angie, you’re back!
3. Angie: haha, yeah.
4. Maddie: So…?
5. Angie: So what?
6. Maddie: How was the party?
7. Angie: Oh, a lot of fun! We needed these clothes because the theme was Grease!
8. Maddie: Grease! I love that movie.
9. Angie: Haha. Uhm, changing the topic, uh… could you please teach me... can I have a driving practice? I didn’t want to go last year.
10. Maddie: Huh?
11. Angie: Please!
12. Maddie: Okay then! We’ll have fun.
13. Angie: Haha… I promise I won’t kill both of us!
14. Maddie: Hehe!
15. Angie: Okay, thanks. I’m going to bed now.
16. Maddie: You might have danced a lot!
19. Angie: Yeah… good night.
20. Maddie: Sleep tight and don’t let the bedbugs bite.
21. Angie: Ahaha. *goes upstairs, to her room* The plan’s turning out perfectly J

The next day, Angie, Maddie and Katy are having breakfast.

22. Maddie: Are you happy ‘bout today, Angie?
23. Angie: Totally.
24. Katy: What will happen today?
25. Angie: I’m going to have my first driving practice.
26. Maddie: And I’ll be the teacher!
27. Katy: Can I drive too?
28. Angie: Sure, once you’re legal age, we’ll teach you.
29. Maddie: Haha!
30. Katy: Oh… *happy* I’ll be patient!
31. Maddie: Haha. You can still come in the car today.
32. Katy: YAY!
33. Angie: But you’re really going to use your seat-belt.
34. Katy: Hahaha!

Later, Angie has her driving practice. Around 30 seconds of it. Blah blah.

Even later, Steve comes home. Katy’s drawing and the other two girls are reading a book.

35. Steve: Hello, girls.

37. Angie: Katy wants to buy cookies.
38. Steve: And why didn’t you go buy them?
39. Maddie: Any of us knows where the market is…
40. Steve: You don’t? We’ve lived here for a week!
41. Angie: Well, I know of one little market. But I’m feeling kind of sick, and I don’t want to go out.
42. Katy: yeah… can you take me, please?
43. Maddie: I’m going with you. I need to buy some things. Or do you want me to stay with you, Angie?
44. Angie: No, no, go. I’ll be fine.
45. Steve: Okay. We’ll go in my car. Are you sure you don’t want to come, Angie?
45. Angie: I don’t feel well, dad. But bring me Oreo’s!
46. Maddie: Okay. See you later!
47. Steve: We’ll be back in 20 minutes, moreorless.
48. Angie: Okay. Bye.
49. Steve: Bye.

They go out and into the car. Angie stands up and looks through the window until they’re gone.

50. Angie: I’ve got 20 minutes to leave.

She runs upstairs, puts on black clothes (xDl) takes her laptop and a bag, and runs to Maddie’s car.

51. Angie: *sigh* I hope I’m doing the right thing… this is my way to find her… Sorry Dad, for leaving this way. Sorry Maddie, for taking your car… Sorry Katy for… leaving you. Another person who leaves you. Aw…

Angie drives and drives. Then, she arrives to a city.

52. Angie: Okay, hmm… she is a hairdresser… Oh! A Salon! *gets out of car and runs into the salon*

There’s a woman there (Meaghan).

53. Meaghan: Hello, dear. Do you have an appointment?
54. Angie: Oh, no no.
55. Meaghan: Can I help you with anything then?
56. Angie: Uhm, perhaps. I only want to know if there is anybody working here called… Michelle.
57. Meaghan: Yeah, there is a Michelle who works here.
58. Angie: And… is she here now?
59. Meaghan: No, she doesn’t work on weekends.
60. Angie: Oh…
61. Meaghan: Why are you looking for her? Wait. Who are you?
62. Angie: Uh… that doesn’t matter. I’ll look for her somewhere else.
63. Meaghan: I can give her a call if you want.
64. Angie: No, thanks. I want to find her by myself.
65. Meaghan: really, I can help you.
66. Angie: Uhm… okay then. Thanks.
67. Meaghan: But one condition… who are you?!
68. Angie: Call me Angie.
69. Meaghan: Okay, Angie, I’m Meaghan. Shall we go to Michelle’s house?
70. Angie: Oh. Yeah. Thanks again.
71. Meaghan: Is that your car?
72. Angie: Yep. You can drive since I don’t know where we’re heading to.
73. Meaghan: Oh, sure.

They go into the car.

They arrive to Michelle’s house. Meaghan rings the bell.

74. Michelle: Yes? Who is it?
75. Angie: *whispering* Let me talk please.
76. Meaghan: *whispering* okay.
77. Michelle: Hello-o?
78. Angie: Uh… it’s Angie.
79. Michelle: Angie?! *opens door*
80. Angie: Yes… *silence* hey… mom.
